Sorry.) My roots are starting to show again, a lot! I have very dark brown hair which almost looks black and I really like it brown how it is now because in the summer brown hair with tan skin looks cute lol and I wanna look cute! I mean come on doesn't everybody lol. So I asked this lady who cuts my hair what I should do about the roots, I don't have enough or actually I don't have any money at all to get this done so I wanted to dye it myself again she told me I could get a dye from "Sally's" what do you think?Angelicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15087156337360145380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050628741405833106.post-15103066802461442642011-03-30T17:21:14.557-05:002011-03-30T17:21:14.557-05:00Stay away from box color and try to reduce the use...Stay away from box color and try to reduce the use of heat on your hair! Let it air dry as much as possible, and when you do use heat, always use a heat protection product.
Yes, the mask would help temporarily mend and prevent split ends from getting worse. If you have a lot of problems with split ends, try this: go through your hair whenever you have time each day and wherever you see the fraying or "white balls" on the ends of your hair, snip them off with scissors or cheap shears. This will prevent them from splitting deeper into the cortex so you don't need as much cut off at your next trim.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07051364589471780010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050628741405833106.post-46636545759548775412011-03-15T16:41:28.227-05:002011-03-15T16:41:28.227-05:00I see, thanks.
by using the hair masks that will ...I see, thanks.
by using the hair masks that will supposedly fix split ends would it help with preventing them from getting worse?
I used to have really long hair but it got ruined by me using a bad do it yourself dye, it damaged it so I got 4 inches taken off, about a week later I found split ends again!
I don't want to have to cut off anymore, well I'd like to to let some of my hair grow out before I do, so I was just wondering if i could use those masks while I wait?Angelicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15087156337360145380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050628741405833106.post-7104181906592121942011-03-06T15:42:12.925-06:002011-03-06T15:42:12.925-06:00Your welcome, Angie. I'm glad I could help you...Your welcome, Angie. I'm glad I could help you out! Really the only way to truly get rid of split ends is to cut them off. There are a lot of products that mend them temporarily or mask them, but if they don't get cut off, they'll just split deeper and deeper. Any products that claim to "get rid of" split ends are just hiding the real problem. So to prevent needing to take off 3 inches because of split ends instead of just 1, make sure to be getting regular trims, even (or especially) if you're trying to grow your hair out.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07051364589471780010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6050628741405833106.post-85521610197810609912011-02-26T08:07:44.993-06:002011-02-26T08:07:44.993-06:00Oh my gosh thanks,
